Happy Summer! Health Advocates Celebrates Summertime with Community
About 150 Health Advocates members gathered on Wednesday, June 9 for our annual summer picnic at the Church of Holy Trinity. Our members packed the house and filled the space with laughter, conversation, and a strong sense of community, as they caught up with friends and welcomed new connections. Attendees enjoyed a bountiful picnic spread featuring sandwiches, wraps, macaroni salad, a fresh garden salad, and chips, followed by watermelon and cookies for dessert.
Health Advocates enjoys welcoming members to a variety of programming every week, yet we cherish opportunities like our summer picnic. It’s a true pleasure to gather so many members in the same space and celebrate! We would like to thank everyone who helped make this event a success. Our deepest gratitude goes to our volunteers–Anne M., Nancy, Leslie, Anne P., Amy, Angie; students from Regis High School and St. Vincent Ferrer; and The Church of Holy Trinity - for generously giving their time, energy, and support.
